Providing Everything You Need

Compressed Air & Vacuum System Installation

This is arguably the most critical service under NFPA 99 (Chapter 5). It involves the complex piping that delivers gases like Oxygen, compressed air, and Nitrous Oxide to rooms and areas.

  • The Job: Installing specialized, cleaned-for-oxygen copper piping and vacuum lines that must be brazed using specific nitrogen-purging techniques to prevent contamination.

  • Value: Ensuring these systems never leak or fail is vital for life support and anesthesia.

Back-flow Prevention & Water Quality Testing

NFPA 99 and associated plumbing codes (like IPC) require strict cross-connection control to protect the facility's potable water supply from contamination.

  • The Job: Installing and performing annual testing on Backflow Prevention Assemblies. In healthcare, this prevents "grey water" or chemicals from medical equipment from siphoning back into the drinking water.

  • Value: Protects patients from waterborne illnesses and ensures the facility meets OSHPD/local health department standards.

Sanitary Waste & Indirect Drainage Systems

Healthcare facilities have unique drainage requirements to prevent the spread of infection. Many medical devices require an "Air Gap" or indirect waste connection to ensure sewage can never back up into clinical equipment.

  • The Job: Designing and maintaining drainage for clinical sinks, sterilizers, and bedpan washers. This often includes installing specialized "clinical sinks" that are designed to minimize splashing.

  • Value: Critical for Infection Control. Proper drainage prevents the aerosolization of bacteria and keeps "clean" areas sterile.
